Chhattisgarh Engineering College (CEC) was started in the year of 2009 in Durg, Chattisgarh.The mission of the college is to promote the intellectual development of students by teaching them problem – solving, leadership and teamwork skills. It offers Undergraduate program in 5 streams and admissions will be made through counseling which will be conducted by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Chhattisgarh on the basis of CGPET or JEE scores.

B.Sc (Agriculture) is a 4 years Degree Programme spread in 8 semesters. The main subjects covered will be Agronomy, Soil science, Extension, Entomology, Horticulture, Agro metereology, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology, Agriculture Engineering, Forestry etc. This is a 4 year degree programme which will also include RAWE (Rural Agriculture work experience) in final year to be carried out at various research centers, Farms and institutes.
